AIWheelTech vs wheel configurators.
jfnetwork (jfnet.de) and iConfigurators make wheel configurators that show the chosen wheel on a picture of the customer’s car. jfnetwork’s runs in 3D with original paint colours and lowering, on data for 16 million vehicles across 55 countries; the iConfigurator Elite adds a wheel and tyre package builder and lead capture. AIWheelTech does not draw the wheel on the car. It checks every wheel against the vehicle before it is shown, finds the car from a UK number plate, and adds an AI sales agent, online booking and a back office, at published prices. A wheel brand or retailer whose sale depends on seeing the wheel on the car is better served by a configurator. A retailer that needs fewer wrong orders and more bookings from its website is better served by AIWheelTech, and the two can run on the same site.
Where AIWheelTech is stronger.
Fit is checked before the look
A configurator shows how a wheel looks on the car. AIWheelTech makes sure it fits first: PCD, centre bore, offset, width and load rating against the vehicle, so the customer can only pick wheels that go on.
Starts from a UK number plate
jfnetwork searches by registration key numbers or by manufacturer, model and version. AIWheelTech finds the car from a UK number plate.
It sells and books
Ally answers, quotes and takes the booking, and the order lands in the diary, job board and invoicing of the same system.
Prices on the page
Neither configurator publishes its prices on its website. The AIWheelTech wheel selector is £35 a month on any site, and complete websites start at £99.
