Overview

The Audi A3 is a small family car (C-segment) manufactured and marketed by the German automaker Audi AG since September 1996. The second generation of the A3, known as Typ 8P, was launched in 2003 at the Geneva Motor Show. This generation featured a new PQ35 platform, redesigned interior with more space, new petrol engines with Fuel Stratified Injection (FSI), and standard six-speed manual gearboxes on most models. The second generation introduced the five-door Sportback model in 2004, offering improved rear cabin space and larger luggage capacity compared to the three-door hatchback variant.
