History & notable variants

The Q5 was introduced in the US market in March 2009 as a 2009 model year vehicle. In Europe, it began shipments in October 2008. A concept version of the Q5, the Audi Cross Cabriolet quattro, was showcased at the 2007 Los Angeles Auto Show.
