Audi R8 4S — Wheel Fitment & Specs
Overview
The Audi R8 is a mid-engine, 2-seater sports car that uses Audi's trademark quattro permanent all-wheel drive system. Introduced by Audi AG in 2006 and manufactured exclusively by Audi Sport GmbH at the Neckarsulm factory, it was inspired by the Lamborghini Gallardo but built on the Huracán platform for its second generation. The R8 is known for being the first production car with full-LED headlights. It underwent a facelift in 2012 and saw significant changes when transitioning to the second generation in 2015, including the introduction of an all-electric e-Tron variant.

Aftermarket wheel sizes — read per position:
| Position | Width | Offset |
|---|---|---|
| Front | 8.5J–11J | ET20–ET45 |
As a rule, each extra 1J of width wants roughly +8–10 ET to keep the wheel tucked. The exact offset and any spacer are confirmed by the fit-check.
UK popularity & demand
Based on DfT VEH0124 vehicle-parc data (2025), there are approximately 3,085 Audi R8 on UK roads, placing it in the top 22% of car models by volume across our fitment database. That makes its wheel fitment a high-demand size to keep in stock — one reason we track its exact spec here.
