The RS5 was unveiled at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show as a high-performance variant of the A5 series. It featured an upgraded 4.2-liter V8 engine producing 450 PS (331 kW; 444 hp) and 430 N⋅m (317 lb⋅ft) torque, paired with a seven-speed S-Tronic transmission and quattro all-wheel drive system.
