Audi S4 B7 — Wheel Fitment & Specs
Overview
The Audi S4 is the high-performance variant of Audi's compact executive car, the A4. The original S4 was built from 1991 until 1994 as a performance-oriented version of the Audi 100 saloon/sedan. Since then, all subsequent generations have been based on the A4 platform. Each generation has seen upgrades in engine power, suspension firmness, and distinctive styling cues compared to its mainstream counterparts. The S4 is manufactured at Audi's plant in Ingolstadt, Germany, and comes as a four-door saloon or five-door Avant (station wagon). All versions feature quattro all-wheel drive with a Torsen-based center differential system.

| Position | Width | Offset |
|---|---|---|

As a rule, each extra 1J of width wants roughly +8–10 ET to keep the wheel tucked. The exact offset and any spacer are confirmed by the fit-check.

History & notable variants
The B7 generation of the Audi S4 was part of the A4 lineup from 2005 to 2016. It featured a powerful 4.2-liter V8 engine, marking the first time a V8 was used in a compact executive car and placing it in direct competition with high-performance rivals like the BMW M3 and Mercedes-Benz C-Class AMG models. The B7 S4 underwent minor updates during its production run but remained largely unchanged until being succeeded by the B8 generation.
Reliability & owner notes
