BMW 2 Series wheel fitment — G42
Overview
The BMW 2 Series is a range of subcompact executive cars (C-segment) manufactured by BMW since 2014, spun-off from the 2-door models of the BMW 1 Series into a separate series. The first generation was launched as rear-wheel drive coupé and convertible in 2014, followed by front-wheel drive Active Tourer compact MPV and Gran Tourer variants in subsequent years. In 2021, the second-generation G42 coupé was introduced, remaining rear-wheel drive but built on BMW's CLAR platform with a roughly 50-50 weight distribution.

|---|---|---|
| Front | 6.5J–8J | ET23–ET45 |
| Rear (staggered) | 7.5J–9J | ET33–ET45 |
As a rule, each extra 1J of width wants roughly +8–10 ET to keep the wheel tucked. The exact offset and any spacer are confirmed by the fit-check.
