BMW 5 Series wheel fitment — V E60/E61
Overview
The fifth generation of the BMW 5 Series executive cars consists of the E60 (saloon version) and E61 (Touring wagon version). Produced from July 5, 2003 to 2010 by BMW in Dingolfing, Germany, and various international plants. This generation introduced new electronic features like iDrive infotainment system, head-up display, active cruise control, adaptive headlights, night vision, lane departure warning, and voice control. It was the first 5 Series with a turbocharged petrol engine, 6-speed automatic transmission, and regenerative braking.

Go wider and the offset has to rise with it, about 8 to 10 ET per extra 1J, or the wheel pokes past the arch. The fit-check settles the exact offset and any spacer.

Development began in 1997, concluding in 2002, led by Boyke Boyer and designed under Chris Bangle. The saloon was launched on July 5, 2003, followed by the Touring models late in 2004. Notable for its M5 variant introduced in 2005 with a V10 engine and advanced transmission options.
