Overview

The Ford Focus St 170 (I) DA1, DB1, DN1 is part of the second generation of the Ford Focus produced for Europe from 2004 onwards. It was launched at the Paris Motor Show in September 2004 as a three and five-door hatchback and an estate variant. The car featured a stiffer bodyshell compared to its predecessor but retained much of the basic suspension design that contributed to the success of the first generation Focus. In 2005, Ford released the MK.II version of the sports division of Focus, the Focus ST, which produced 225 bhp and could achieve a 0-60 mph time of 6.4 seconds with a top speed of 152 mph using a 2.5-litre turbocharged engine from Volvo.

History & notable variants
