Overview

The third generation (C346) of the Ford Focus was launched simultaneously in North America and Europe in early 2011, with production starting late in 2010. This generation saw a return to a unified international model after previous North American versions diverged from European models. The car featured new engine options including a 2.0-litre direct injection inline-four engine. In April 2018, Ford unveiled the fourth-generation Focus (C519) for its 20th anniversary, available in sedan, hatchback, and estate body styles with an Active crossover-inspired trim level and Vignale luxury variant. The model emphasized advanced technology such as Sync 3 infotainment system and CoPilot360 driver assistance suite.

The fourth generation Focus was introduced to mark Ford's 20th anniversary of the model in April 2018, featuring a sportier exterior design and simplified interior.
