Kia Ceed wheel fitment — I ' ED
Overview
The first generation of the Kia Ceed (ED) was produced exclusively for the European market from October 2006 until its discontinuation in 2012. It marked a significant milestone as it was the first car designed entirely by Kia in Europe, tailored specifically to meet the needs and preferences of European customers. The model is assembled at the Kia Motors Slovakia plant in Žilina, Slovakia. This generation featured three body styles: a 3-door hatchback (Pro Cee'd), a 5-door hatchback, and a station wagon variant (Cee'd SW). It was built on the Hyundai-Kia J4 platform, sharing its architecture with the Hyundai i30.
History & notable variants
The first-generation Kia Ceed made its debut at the Paris Motor Show in September 2006. By mid-2007, a station wagon version (Cee'd SW) was introduced followed by the three-door Pro Cee'd variant later that year. The model received a facelift in September 2009, featuring an updated front and rear design including Kia's new corporate grille known as the Tiger Nose.
Kia Ceed wheel fitment
Everything below is what the fit-check uses for Kia Ceed wheel fitment: the factory bolt spec first, then the width and offset window that clears the arches and the brakes on the Kia Ceed (I)' ED.
| Bolt pattern (PCD) | 5x114.3 |
| Centre bore | 67.1 mm |
| Bolt / thread | M12x1.5 (nuts) |
| Seat type | tapered |
| Factory setup | staggered |
| TPMS | direct |
Aftermarket wheel sizes — read per position:
| Position | Width | Offset |
|---|---|---|
| Front | 6J–7.5J | ET35–ET56 |
| Rear (staggered) | 8.5J–8.5J | ET40–ET45 |
Go wider and the offset has to rise with it, about 8 to 10 ET per extra 1J, or the wheel pokes past the arch. The fit-check settles the exact offset and any spacer.

UK popularity & demand
Based on DfT VEH0124 vehicle-parc data (2025), there are approximately 126,137 Kia Ceed on UK roads, placing it in the top 3% of car models by volume across our fitment database.
A parc that size is why Kia Ceed wheel fitment is worth getting exactly right: a lot of owners are shopping for these numbers.
