Kia Sorento wheel fitment — Ii XM, XMG
Kia Sorento wheel fitment
Kia Sorento wheel fitment comes down to two things: the factory hub spec, and how far the aftermarket width and offset can move from it. Both are here for the Kia Sorento (Ii) XM, XMG (2009–2015).
| Bolt pattern (PCD) | 5x114.3 |
| Centre bore | 67.1 mm |
| Bolt / thread | M12x1.5 (nuts) |
| Seat type | tapered |
| Factory setup | square |
| TPMS | direct |
Aftermarket wheel sizes — read per position:
| Position | Width | Offset |
|---|---|---|
| Front | 7J–9.5J | ET30–ET42 |
As a rule, each extra 1J of width wants roughly +8 to 10 ET to keep the wheel tucked. The exact offset and any spacer are confirmed by the fit-check.
Overview
The second generation of the Kia Sorento (XM) was launched in South Korea in April 2009, marking a significant shift from its body-on-frame predecessor to a unibody platform with fully independent suspension. This redesign made it Kia's first model manufactured in the United States at their new $1 billion West Point, Georgia factory. The second generation introduced Kia's Tiger Nose grille and was the first Sorento to offer Kia UVO technology. Available engines include a 2.4-liter GDI I4 (producing 191 hp) and a 3.5-liter V6 (276 hp). It is available in four models: Base, LX, EX, and SX, with the latter exclusively featuring the powerful V6 engine.
