Kia Sportage wheel fitment — Ii JE, JES
Kia Sportage wheel fitment
Kia Sportage wheel fitment comes down to two things: the factory hub spec, and how far the aftermarket width and offset can move from it. Both are here for the Kia Sportage (Ii) JE, JES (1993–present).
| Bolt pattern (PCD) | 5x114.3 |
| Centre bore | 67.1 mm |
| Bolt / thread | M12x1.5 (nuts) |
| Seat type | tapered |
| Factory setup | staggered |
| TPMS | direct |
Aftermarket wheel sizes — read per position:
| Position | Width | Offset |
|---|---|---|
| Front | 6.5J–9J | ET30–ET46 |
| Rear (staggered) | 9.5J–9.5J | ET34–ET36 |
Go wider and the offset has to rise with it, about 8 to 10 ET per extra 1J, or the wheel pokes past the arch. The fit-check settles the exact offset and any spacer.
Overview
The Kia Sportage (II) JE/JES is the second generation of this compact crossover SUV, transitioning from a body-on-frame to a car-based platform in 2004. It was developed alongside the Hyundai Tucson and shares its platform with the first-generation model. This generation saw improvements in fit and finish quality over its predecessor but faced criticism for being larger and less capable off-road compared to the original Sportage. Production began in Slovakia from 2006 onwards, following a two-year hiatus after the first generation.
