Kia Sportage wheel fitment — Iii SLS, SL
Overview
The Kia Sportage (III) SLS, SL is part of the third generation of this compact crossover SUV series manufactured by Kia since 1993 through five generations. Launched in April 2010 for Asian and European markets, August 2010 for North and Central American markets, and October 2010 for Australia, it was built on a platform shared with the Hyundai Tucson. The Sportage III SLS, SL offered two engines: a 2.0-litre Hyundai R diesel engine producing 184 hp (137 kW) and a 2.0-litre Theta T-GDi petrol engine. This generation marked an improvement in fit/finish and quality over its predecessor, with enhanced reliability and safety features.
History & notable variants
The third-generation Sportage was introduced to address the shortcomings of the second generation by offering improved build quality and reliability. It won several awards including the 2011 Car of the Year in Slovakia and a 'Top Safety Pick' rating from IIHS in the US. A facelift for the 2014 model year included cosmetic updates such as a new grille, LED tail lights, and redesigned alloy wheels.
Kia Sportage wheel fitment
Everything below is what the fit-check uses for Kia Sportage wheel fitment: the factory bolt spec first, then the width and offset window that clears the arches and the brakes on the Kia Sportage (Iii) SLS, SL.
| Bolt pattern (PCD) | 5x114.3 |
| Centre bore | 67.1 mm |
| Bolt / thread | M12x1.5 (nuts) |
| Seat type | tapered |
| Factory setup | square |
| TPMS | direct |
Aftermarket wheel sizes — read per position:
| Position | Width | Offset |
|---|---|---|
| Front | 6.5J–9J | ET25–ET45 |
Width and offset move together: roughly 8 to 10 ET more for every extra 1J keeps the wheel inside the arch. Final offset and any spacer come from the fit-check.
