Overview
The Mercedes-Benz C-Class W204 is a compact executive car produced from 2007 to 2015 as the third generation of the model series, replacing the W203. It was introduced on January 18, 2007, and displayed at the Geneva Auto Show in March 2007. Sales commenced in Europe shortly after its unveiling. The W204 featured an extended wheelbase and track width compared to its predecessor, a stiffer body structure, and styling cues from the S-Class (W221) and CLS-Class (C219). It was available with sedan, station wagon, liftback, and coupé body styles. The W204 platform also supported the introduction of the C-Class coupe in 2012.

History & notable variants
The third generation C-Class received a mid-cycle refresh in 2011 for the 2012 model year, featuring new LED taillights, revised dashboard and instrument cluster layout, and updated front fascia and headlights. The final variant of this generation was the Edition 507 model which celebrated the naturally aspirated V8 engine with increased power, lightweight wheels, and a vented hood from the Black Series.
