Overview
The third generation Mercedes-Benz CL-Class (C216) is a grand tourer produced from 2006 to 2014. It was based on the W221 S-Class chassis, sharing many of its features but with unique styling and performance options tailored for a coupé body style. The C216 continued Mercedes-Benz's tradition of offering high-performance variants through AMG, including the CL 63 AMG and CL 65 AMG models. This generation featured advanced technology such as Distronic Plus cruise control and Active NightVision. It was assembled in Germany at the Sindelfingen plant.

As a rule, each extra 1J of width wants roughly +8–10 ET to keep the wheel tucked. The exact offset and any spacer are confirmed by the fit-check.
The C216 was unveiled at the end of June 2006, making its debut at the Paris Motor Show. Notable changes included a new grille design, bi-xenon headlights with LED technology, and an improved interior layout. In 2010, it received a facelift that introduced additional safety features like Active Blind Spot Assist and Night View Assist Plus.
