Mercedes CL-Class AMG wheel fitment — CL 63/65 C216
Mercedes CL-Class AMG wheel fitment
Mercedes CL-Class AMG wheel fitment comes down to two things: the factory hub spec, and how far the aftermarket width and offset can move from it. Both are here for the Mercedes CL 63/65 C216 (2007–2014).
| Bolt pattern (PCD) | 5x112 |
| Centre bore | 66.6 mm |
| Bolt / thread | M14x1.5 (bolts) |
| Seat type | radius |
| Factory setup | staggered |
| TPMS | direct |
| Run-flat | Yes |
Aftermarket wheel sizes — read per position:
| Position | Width | Offset |
|---|---|---|
| Front | 8.5J–9.5J | ET30–ET43 |
| Rear (staggered) | 9J–11J | ET28–ET45 |
Go wider and the offset has to rise with it, about 8 to 10 ET per extra 1J, or the wheel pokes past the arch. The fit-check settles the exact offset and any spacer.
Overview
The third generation Mercedes-Benz CL-Class (C216) is a grand tourer produced from 2006 to 2014. It was based on the W221 S-Class chassis, sharing many of its features but with unique styling and performance options tailored for a coupé body style. The C216 continued Mercedes-Benz's tradition of offering high-performance variants through AMG, including the CL 63 AMG and CL 65 AMG models. This generation featured advanced technology such as Distronic Plus cruise control and Active NightVision. It was assembled in Germany at the Sindelfingen plant.
