Overview

The Mercedes-Benz E-Class W212 generation was introduced in 2009 as a 2010 model. It featured significant styling changes and new technology, including blind spot monitor, Lane Keeping Assist, Pre-safe with Attention Assist, and Night View Assist Plus. The sedan and estate body styles were available from November 2009 onwards. In the United States, it was priced nearly US$4,600 less than its predecessor.
