Overview

The Mercedes-Benz G-Class, also known colloquially as the G-Wagon or G-Wagen (abbreviation of Geländewagen), is a luxury SUV produced by Mercedes-Benz. Originally developed in 1972 for military use and later introduced to civilian markets in 1979, it has evolved into one of Daimler's longest-running models. The second generation W463 was launched in 2018 with significant updates including a revised chassis, powertrain, body design, and interior features.
