Mercedes GL-Class wheel fitment in one line: The Mercedes GL-Class 166 (2013–2016) uses a 5x112 bolt pattern, 66.6 mm centre bore, M14x1.5 bolts torqued to ~140 Nm. It accepts ~8.5J–11J wheels at ET28–ET62 front; staggered setups run 9.5J–9.5J rear (ET31–ET44).

Overview

The Mercedes-Benz GLS (formerly GL-Class) is a full-size luxury crossover SUV produced by Mercedes-Benz since 2006, positioned above the GLE in the marque's SUV lineup. The second generation model (X166), introduced in September 2012 and renamed to GLS in 2016 due to a rebranding initiative, is built on an unibody architecture shared with the GLE. It features efficiency improvements such as start-stop systems and drive-by-wire steering, alongside high-performance variants like the GL63 AMG.

History & notable variants

The second generation of the Mercedes-Benz GL-Class (X166) was introduced in September 2012 and underwent a facelift in 2016 when it was renamed to GLS. This model saw performance improvements, minor exterior and interior design changes, and the introduction of high-performance variants such as the GL63 AMG.

Go wider and the offset has to rise with it, about 8 to 10 ET per extra 1J, or the wheel pokes past the arch. The fit-check settles the exact offset and any spacer.
