Overview
The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG (C197 / R197) is a front mid-engine, 2-seater sports car developed by the Mercedes-AMG division of German automotive manufacturer Mercedes-Benz. It was designed to be a modern revival of the iconic 300SL Gullwing and succeeded the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren as AMG's flagship model. The SLS AMG is notable for its gull-wing doors, powerful naturally aspirated V8 engine, and lightweight aluminum construction. Production took place in Germany at the Sindelfingen plant.

As a rule, each extra 1J of width wants roughly +8–10 ET to keep the wheel tucked. The exact offset and any spacer are confirmed by the fit-check.
The SLS AMG was introduced at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show and went on sale in Europe mid-2010 with production ending in 2014. It won several design awards, including the red dot 'best of the best' award and Auto Bild's Design Award as Europe's most attractive car. The SLS AMG GT Final Edition marked the end of production.
