Overview

The Mercedes-Benz GLE, formerly known as the M-Class (ML), is a mid-size luxury SUV produced by Mercedes-Benz since 1997. This generation of the GLE was introduced in April 2015 at the New York Auto Show and marks a significant shift from its predecessor with a more modern design and advanced features. It is built on a unibody platform, moving away from the body-on-frame construction used previously. The GLE slots between the smaller GLC and larger GLS models in Mercedes-Benz's SUV lineup.
