Overview
The Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupé/Cabrio (W221) is part of the seventh generation of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, produced from 2006 to 2014. This generation was manufactured at the Sindelfingen plant in Germany and marked a significant evolution in luxury car design and technology. The coupé model replaced the CL-Class that had been separated from the S-Class line in 1996 but later reintegrated, while the convertible variant was introduced as the first since 1972. Both models were built on the Mercedes-Benz R platform, offering a blend of luxury, performance, and advanced safety features.

Go wider and the offset has to rise with it, about 8 to 10 ET per extra 1J, or the wheel pokes past the arch. The fit-check settles the exact offset and any spacer.
