Overview

The Toyota GR Yaris is a performance-oriented variant of the Toyota Yaris, manufactured since September 2020 by Toyota with assistance from its Gazoo Racing division. It was designed to meet World Rally Championship (WRC) homologation rules and features significant modifications compared to the standard five-door model, including four-wheel drive and a wider rear track. The car is built on a combination of GA-B front-end architecture and GA-C rear platform, with lightweight materials such as aluminium and carbon fibre-reinforced plastic used for weight reduction. It is available in Japan, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, the Philippines, Mexico, Argentina, Taiwan, and the Middle East.
