Toyota RAV4 wheel fitment — IV XA30 Facelift
Overview
The Toyota RAV4 (XA30) is the third generation of this compact crossover SUV. Introduced in 2005 at the Frankfurt Motor Show, it was built on an all-new platform and offered both short- and long-wheelbase versions. The short-wheelbase model was sold in Japan, Europe, and New Zealand, while the longer version was available in Australia, North America, and some other markets. Key changes included a larger interior volume, improved safety features like nine airbags, and optional third-row seating for two additional passengers (North America and Japan only). The RAV4's market positioning remained strong as it continued to cater to consumers seeking the benefits of an SUV with car-like maneuverability.
History & notable variants
The XA30 generation underwent a facelift in 2010, which included revised front-end styling for the Japanese model sold alongside its shorter counterpart as the Toyota Vanguard. In Japan, the long-wheelbase RAV4 was discontinued in favor of the redesigned Harrier from November 2013 onwards. The third-generation RAV4 received accolades such as the WheelsTV pre-owned vehicle of the year title in 2015.

Aftermarket wheel sizes — read per position:

Width and offset move together: roughly 8 to 10 ET more for every extra 1J keeps the wheel inside the arch. Final offset and any spacer come from the fit-check.
