Vauxhall Astra-G wheel fitment — Caravan
Overview
The Vauxhall Astra-G Caravan is part of the second generation Opel/Vauxhall Astra series, produced from 1998 to 2004. It was available as a five-door estate (station wagon) known in Europe as the 'Caravan' and later renamed to Sports Tourer. This model succeeded the first-generation Astra F Caravan and featured significant improvements over its predecessor, including enhanced chassis tuning by Lotus Engineering which also formed the basis for the Opel Zafira MPV.
History & notable variants
The Astra G series was launched in 1998 with a range of body styles including coupé and cabriolet variants introduced later. It received a facelift in 2003, updating its design and adding new features such as natural gas-powered engines. The model continued production until the introduction of the Astra H series.
Vauxhall Astra-G wheel fitment
Everything below is what the fit-check uses for Vauxhall Astra-G wheel fitment: the factory bolt spec first, then the width and offset window that clears the arches and the brakes on the Vauxhall Astra-G Caravan.
| Bolt pattern (PCD) | 5x110 |
| Centre bore | 65.1 mm |
| Bolt / thread | M12x1.5 (bolts) |
| Wheel-bolt torque | 110 Nm |
| Seat type | tapered |
| Factory setup | square |
| TPMS | direct |
Aftermarket wheel sizes — read per position:
| Position | Width | Offset |
|---|---|---|
| Front | 6J–8.5J | ET25–ET49 |
Go wider and the offset has to rise with it, about 8 to 10 ET per extra 1J, or the wheel pokes past the arch. The fit-check settles the exact offset and any spacer.
