Vauxhall Zafira wheel fitment — Zafira-A
Overview
The Vauxhall Zafira-A, also known as the Opel Zafira A, was a compact multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) produced from January 1999 to May 2005. It shared its T platform with the Opel Astra G and featured seating for seven passengers in three rows. The Flex 7 system allowed the split back seat to fold into the floor, increasing cargo space without removing seats. Initially offered with petrol engines and a single diesel option, it later received newer 'Z' engine generation models meeting Euro 3 emissions standards.
History & notable variants
The Zafira A was co-developed with Porsche and debuted as a concept at the Frankfurt Auto Show in 1997 before entering production in January 1999. It ranked third in European Car of the Year for 2000, behind only the Fiat Multipla and Toyota Yaris. The model received a facelift in February 2003 and was sold under various marques globally until its discontinuation in Europe in May 2005.
Vauxhall Zafira wheel fitment
Everything below is what the fit-check uses for Vauxhall Zafira wheel fitment: the factory bolt spec first, then the width and offset window that clears the arches and the brakes on the Vauxhall Zafira-A.
| Bolt pattern (PCD) | 5x110 |
| Centre bore | 65.1 mm |
| Bolt / thread | M12x1.5 (bolts) |
| Wheel-bolt torque | 110 Nm |
| Seat type | tapered |
| Factory setup | square |
| TPMS | direct |
Aftermarket wheel sizes — read per position:
| Position | Width | Offset |
|---|---|---|
| Front | 6J–8J | ET35–ET47 |
As a rule, each extra 1J of width wants roughly +8 to 10 ET to keep the wheel tucked. The exact offset and any spacer are confirmed by the fit-check.
UK popularity & demand
