Overview

The Volkswagen Caddy III, also known as Typ 2K, is a leisure activity vehicle and panel van produced by the German automaker Volkswagen Group since October 2003. It was unveiled at the RAI Commercial Vehicle Show in Amsterdam and went into production shortly after in November of the same year. The third generation Caddy shares 50% of its modules with the Volkswagen Golf Mk5 and Touran, featuring a more aerodynamic design with a horizontal windscreen angle and A-pillar. Available in two body sizes ('normal' and Maxi), it can be configured as Panel Van, Window Panel Van, Kombi (spartan passenger version), Caddy Life (family version), and the Camping variant called Caddy Tramper or Caddy Life Camper. The Caddy III is marketed for its versatility in both commercial and leisure activities, offering a range of configurations to suit various needs.
