Overview

The Volkswagen Golf Sportsvan, also known as the Golf SV, is a five-door compact MPV designed and produced by Volkswagen from 2014 to 2020. It was introduced at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2013 as a concept car and positioned below the seven-seater Touran in the company's lineup. The Sportsvan is derived from the Golf Mk7 and built on the MQB platform, sharing assembly facilities with the standard Golf hatchback in Wolfsburg, Germany. Compared to its predecessor, the Golf Plus, it offers increased luggage capacity and enhanced safety features such as a blind spot monitor and automatic post-collision braking system.
