Overview
The Volkswagen ID. Buzz is a battery electric minivan produced by German manufacturer Volkswagen, based on the dedicated MEB platform. It is the first production electric minivan from Volkswagen and part of the Volkswagen ID. series. Inspired by the iconic Volkswagen Type 2 (T1) Microbus, it features retro styling with modern technology. The vehicle was unveiled in March 2022, with production starting in June 7, 2022, and European deliveries began in the second half of that year. It is available as a five-seater passenger van and a cargo van (ID. Buzz Cargo). In North America, it launched on June 2, 2023, and became available for sale in June 2024 with a long-wheelbase version.

As a rule, each extra 1J of width wants roughly +8–10 ET to keep the wheel tucked. The exact offset and any spacer are confirmed by the fit-check.
The ID. Buzz concept was first shown at the 2017 North American International Auto Show. Positive consumer interest led to its production announcement by CEO Herbert Diess in August 2017, with sales beginning in 2022. The production vehicle debuted on March 9, 2022, and series production started in June 2022 at the Hanover factory, which was retooled for EV assembly. Pre-orders began in May 2022, and the first deliveries were scheduled for Q3 2022.
